Here’s How to Stop Giving Your Power Away - Part Two

In part one of this story, we saw how my client Lori went from pissed off and feeling like a Victim to coming into her power as a Warrior. You can read Part one again here.

In part two, she demonstrates how she came full circle from being in the Victim space and left her session with full access to her self-efficacy and self-esteem.

Underlying her experience of being chastised for taking personal time from work on a day when a crisis happened she was not there to manage, it was clear she was regarded as indispensable, and also a leader, even though she doesn’t have the advanced degree, license or position as many of her co-workers. Sometimes it's hard to see that there are two sides of the coin when we are caught up in the victim's space.

Remember there's always more than one perspective available for us.

If that's the case, then, it's just as easy to ask, what would a leader do?

A leader would gather the staff and hear their concerns about what they felt was missing the day of the crisis. She would take their concerns and work with them to create a plan to make sure everyone is aware of their responsibilities and that there would be no more gaps the next time they are faced with a similar situation. A leader would make sure the plan is communicated to everyone, making adjustments and listening to feedback as needed.

In a one-hour session, Lori went from Victim to the highest light of the Warrior. She went from “This is terrible and unfair,”, to– “Wait a second, something’s not right here,” to– “How can I use my skills as a leader to create change and make our organization stronger and more effective?”

Over the next few weeks, she outlined her plan, asked for, and was given additional compensation for her work.

Then spearheaded the change with energy, creativity and synergy with her co-workers.

Now, here, she’s living in the light, and in control of her life. Without being able to see, call out and shift from her inner Victim to the Warrior within AND without following its brilliant path & trajectory, my client would not have quickly made the inner shift that upleveled not only her reality, but the reality of her organization.

This is how an archetype in the light operates.

Are there areas in your life where you can see patterns within yourself that keep you unhappy and in victim mode?

Maybe in your work, or in your relationships? Or maybe even just within yourself?

Know this…we all have each of these archetypes within us.

Once we begin to understand them, and these patterns, we can create the shifts needed to uplevel and gain control faster, stand our ground in peace, and confidently move in the direction that serves us at our highest level.

Whatever you are feeling unhappy about, ask your higher self to show you the highest potential.

What would leave you feeling secure, accomplished, and fully capable? And what support do you need to make it happen?
