We’re living in an historical, unsettling, archetypal time, where we just can’t miss the pull between shadow and light forces in our society and the world.

While some of us have hope and optimism, and many others are living with the exhaustion of the dread we’ve been carrying for too long.

While there’s only so much we can do to change things in 3D reality (and hear me- we can and should continue to do ALL of the things), we can make it a point to lean into our practices and rituals that connect us to ourselves and our heart, and remind us that we are givers and receivers of love.

 We can choose the level of consciousness in which we want to live.

 If it’s helpful, I thought I’d share some of what I am doing to stay, as best I can (and very much imperfectly), in the energy and consciousness of my choosing. 

 I’ve been:

• Riding my bike in the late afternoons.

• Being more present with my kids.

• Bringing food and flowers to my downstairs neighbor who is undergoing cancer treatment.

• Giving both time and money to causes that align with my values.

• Saying my sacred mantras morning and evening.

• Doing yoga whenever I can to connect to myself and calm my nervous system.

• Continuing to be fascinated by and learning as much as I can about consciousness and transformation.

• Telling myself it’s ok to be afraid and loving myself enough to refuse to stay there.

My invitation to you is this: Find what keeps you connected to yourself and to love, and commit to doing those things. Because your consciousness matters and you deserve to feel safe in your body.

 Place your hands on your heart and focus on generating as much love as you can. The more love you generate, the more love there will be in the world. And goodness knows the world needs love. 

See the beauty everywhere. Outside, in your garden, in the autumn leaves, in the children, in art, in the amazing creativity, courage and compassion of those around you. 

 Remember no matter what is going on in life, the world is going to do what it's going to do, but you have choices...choose to be legendary, grounded, and love every side of YOU.
